Robertson Preparatory School strives to be an outstanding school in Robertson that:

  • is grounded in Christian values and norms;
  • has a unique character of its own;
  • leads every child to realise that he or she is unique and therefore very special;
  • creates fair and just opportunities for every learner within his or her ability;
  • provides education and teaching in Afrikaans and English to every learner;

The school crest

The crest shows two red stars above the blue mountains, with a bunch of grapes from the valley below. The motto is Werk Getrou (work faithfully), the same words that appear in the first verse of the school song.

The school song

The school song is sung in Afrikaans.

  1. Verse 1

    Hoër en hoër sal ons bou by berge verby na die hemel so blou. Hande saam vir die R.V.S. Werk getrou is ons skool se les.

  2. Verse 2
