Who we are

The school’s Information Officer is Mrs Sanette Prins. Please send any privacy request to her at the school.
What information we collect
The website only asks for personal information when you use the contact form. We then ask for your name, email address, cellphone number (if you choose to give it), the topic and your message. We do not ask for information about your child on the website, and we ask that you do not share medical or other sensitive information in your message.
To protect the form from spam we use Cloudflare Turnstile. It checks technical information from your browser to confirm that a person is filling in the form. It does not use advertising or tracking cookies.
What we use it for
We use your information only to reply to your enquiry. We do so on the basis of your consent, which you give by ticking the box on the form. You can withdraw your consent at any time by contacting the school.
Who sees it
Your message is emailed to the school office and is not stored on the website. Only the staff who handle your enquiry see it. The school never sells personal information and does not share it for marketing.
The website uses Cloudflare for hosting and Turnstile, and the email service to deliver messages. Some of these services process information outside South Africa. We only use providers that protect information at a level in line with POPIA, as section 72 of the Act requires.
How long we keep it
We keep website enquiries for no longer than 12 months. If an enquiry becomes part of an application or another school record, the school’s records policy applies.
Cookies
The website sets no tracking or analytics cookies and shows no advertising. That is why there is no cookie banner either.
Photos of learners
The school only publishes photos of learners on the website when a parent or guardian has given written consent. We do not give learners’ full names with photos. If you would like a photo removed, please contact the office and we will remove it as soon as possible.
Your rights
You have the right to ask which personal information the school holds about you, to have incorrect information corrected or deleted, and to object to it being processed. If you are not satisfied with how the school handles your information, you can lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator at inforegulator.org.za.
